All of my friends dislike him? ?

First of all I am mixed with black & white and was raised in very nice neighborhood when I was younger. The schools I went to didn't have that many black kids so I made friends with alot of white people. Well i'm 22 now and I still talk to 5 of my friends from school. I've never dated anyone black so I wanted to give it a chance and I met this great black guy that I love very much. I met him 8 months ago and all of my friends dislike him just because he's black. They tell me that he's no good and that he's going to drag me down with him etc. They also say stuff like i'm going to end up selling drugs or locked up while dealing with my boyfriend. My friends is always starting arguments with him just to try to break us up. Just today they told me that they don't like people like him and I got very offended and told them that they must don't like me either. Now I feel as if i have to leave my boyfriend to save my friendships and this hurts. When I dated a white guy they didn't have a problem with it. i'm really lost for words and don't know what to do. What should I do or how should I handle this?

are you sure that they dislike him because hes black that seems kind of ridiculous i think they are just trying to watch out for you maybe it is him if its with every black guy then thats different

Are you sure that they are racist and they really just don't like him? Maybe they see something in him that you can't yet. On the other hand, maybe your friends are not very good at living up to their title.

You want to leave your BF and end a relationship cause some racist, so called friends don't like him, cause he is black?

Even if your friends are racist, which they clearly are, they should not try to interfere with your life like that. Drop them.
