  1. Don't panic just yet, I had the same problem with my Itunes and had to get rid of the whole program. the best thing would be to download a free Ipod music transfer software to backup your Ipod music to your computer.

I have one called MediaWidget (these programs are not from Apple!) that works great...and its free and its a small program. just Google "Ipod to PC transfer" or "mediawidget". The program does Use Itunes but is still seperate from it, if that makes any sense lol. You can even use it instead of Itunes alltogether for putting music on your Ipod and such. The only catch is if you want the full version you have to buy it, but the trial works fine too. Just be careful with other programs because some of them don't work, and may do more harm than good. Just be cautious, I had to try a few in order to find a good one that was also simple to use. Once you have the program all you do is connect your Ipod and follow the instructions!

Hope this helps, and hope mediawidget works for you if you do try it

  2. Well, what did you do before you opened it? Did you download something?

  3. Try searching your hard drive for itunes folders and any files related to itunes...there should be a back up somewere....thanx
