  1. c.. restoring the environment can't conserve water nor electricity or something.. i think to conserve is to use a thing wisely

  2. The answer is C). Here is why.....

The definition os conservation is the act of conserving; prevention of injury, decay, waste, or loss; preservation.

By restoring the environment, yes we are doing a wonderful thing, but are we conserving? No.

    A) is conserving because by reducing waste, we conserve the amount oof garbage and trash on the planet.

    B) is conservation because by reducing consumption, we are preserve the amount of organisms on the planet. For example, say you choose not to eat....tuna. If everybody in the world decided not to eat tuna for a year, do you think food companies would continue to catch it? Probably not. In a way, it is conserving.

    D) Reducing production of goods using a resource is conserving because you are saving the resource used to make the product--in other words, conserving it.

    E) Recycling helps conservation in the long run because it helps to reduce the amount of trees we cut down. This is fairly obvious.

    Hope I helped!

    Good question!

    =)

  3. Why does there need to be a wrong answer?

I can agree with the others on their choices, but why don't we just do all of them? We can conserve AND restore some of the damage already done.

  4. the answer is C

Conservation means retaining what is already there and holding it in its current state.  All answers except C fall in that category as they eliminate or at least slow the destruction of natural resources.

Answer C implies that the damage has already been done and now we are going to make an effort to put it back like it was.  This is not truly conservation although it is another worthy goal taken on by many conservation minded organizations and individuals.

  5. D.  Reducing production of goods using the resource

  6. B, I know, dumb isn't it.
