  2. most likely D, although B could also be it in the case of, say, lord of the rings, where the action is not initiated by frodo but by other forces that make him leave the shire.

    but the protagonist isn't always likeable. look at gone with the wind for example. scarlett o'hara often does some really mean things, and somehow we still end up being interested. see what i mean? so i'd say D

  4. D, the protaganist isnt always the hero, sometimes the story is from a villians point of veiw but the villian would still be the protaganist
