All of you pizza delivery people out there?

Question

Have you ever been tempted to steal a slice of pizza from the pie you were delivering?

I mean, you haven't had lunch, it smells so good and it has your favorite topping....

i never worked for a pizza place, but at mcdonalds i steal food all the time. Not from the customers though, just from the trays or yogurt from the containers. Also i don't steal very much at a time.  I imagine people delivery workers probably steal from the store like I do and not from customers.

Obviously you would be caught. It is just a way of getting fired not to mention have a customer with a case of pizza rage kick the h**l out of you.

I would think the customer would notice if a slice of their pizza was missing, so I'm guessing they don't.

I worked at Domino's in college. We often got free pizza anyway so and were around it constantly so there was no temptation to steal any.

Not really tempted to take a piece from the box, but have been tempted to take a pie from the restaurant. But after awhile of smelling it all the time you kinda start to not crave it, and actually start to not even want it at all.

I'm not a pizza delivery driver but if I were, I WOULD be tempted but wouldn't actually do it in fear of getting caught!

I deliver pizza. Some pizzas do smell very good but I have never taken a piece.We always have 2 or 3 pizzas at the store for employees to snack on, so I never get that hungry. My manager is great. He lets us make weird pizzas. The other day some people made a pizza  and used taco bell hot sauce instead of pizza sauce. It was really good.
