All regions DVD question?

Question

If a DVD says it plays all regions does that mean i can play it on a U.S. Playstation 3 system? PS3 plays Blu-Ray disc and it says all regions.

If you're referring to a DVD player...then yes, there is such a thing as a region free player, which will play any disc. HOWEVER PS3 is not a region free player, it WILL NOT play any other region encoded discs. If it's a region free dvd or blu-ray, then it will have no problem with that.

**EDIT** NO, blu-ray discs are region coded just like dvd. Your PS3 will only Play region 1 or Region A. There's a few other countries that use the same region encoding. LIke I said before, if it's a "Region Free" dvd or blu-ray, your player will play them just fine.
