When this first started happening I replaced all of the speakers on the right side. It plays well for about 30 mins, then starts crackling through all the speakers on the right side. Ideas?

  1. Sounds like a wiring problem also check your fuses may be breaking. Another thing if you plan to change that radio look at the stock wiring harness make sure it not burned out any where.

  2. if all the speakers on the right channel crackle, it means the amplifiers right channel connector is either loose or wrecked. It could also mean that u have a bad earth. Work the problem, first, go to the head unit and swap the speakers around, make the right side, the left side and see if the left speakers are crackling or is it still the right side. If its the left side now, that means ur speakers are fine and its the amplification side thats the problem. If its still ur right side then re wire the speakers on that side again. If it still happens, guess what?, ur right speakers are both screwed and its time for new ones.

  3. Make sure you have good wires running through out the system, You may have   a split in it some were. So i would say replace the wiring on all the speakers. Also if your speakers are made to handle the volume to high that will also cause it to crackle, good luck

  4. check your wiring, may be lose, or shorted out somewhere.

    Good Luck

  5. sounds like a wiring problem. you may have loose wires connecting the front speakers. check them from end to end chances are you will find the problem there.

  6. some kind of loose connection... have a look you will see a frayed wire or similar.
