All-round effort from http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Azhar-Mahmood-Sagar-c46915 guides Kent to victory against Surrey: Friends Life T20 – Match Recap
Kent overcame Surrey by six wickets and 11 balls remaining, in a match of the Friends Life Twenty20, at the Kent County Cricket Ground, Beckenham in http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013, on Sunday, June 26, 2011.
The visitors batted well, scoring 150 runs in their allotted 50 overs. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Thomas-Lloyd-Maynard-c93631 was the top scorer for his side, ending up with 76 runs. His effort went in vain though, as the target was achieved by Kent easily in the end, losing just four wickets.
Pakistan’s all-rounder, Azhar Mahmood, played a crucial part in his team’s victory, as he contributed both with the bat and ball. He grabbed a couple of wickets in the match and scored 49 runs.
Conditions were good for the batsmen, as the pitch had no assistance for the bowlers. http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Rory-James-Hamilton-Brown-c86829, predicted the wicket to get slower in the second half of the match and opted to bat first after winning the toss.
Hamilton-Brown was unable to give a solid start to his side though, as he was the first man to be dismissed in the innings. He managed only three runs and was sent back to the pavilion in the second over of the match.
The visitors’ first-drop, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SM-Davies-c2542, was the next wicket to fall in the innings and the team was left struggling at 38/3.
Davies looked in good touch as he scored 27 runs off just 15 deliveries. He struck five fours and one six in his cameo knock, but would have been disappointed to get out after that.
Maynard and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zander-de-Bruyn-c98565 guided their side out of trouble with a solid 103-run partnership for the fourth wicket. The latter failed to play aggressively though, which cost the team some runs in the end.

Mahmood took two wickets for 26 runs in four overs, leading the attack for the home team.
http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Robert-Key-c2349, were cleaned up early. They only scored five and one in their respective outings, leaving the team struggling at 8/2.
