  1. Please send me the details of all above models so that I can take the decision.

  2. Well, I know you've mentioned all olympus cameras, I've never used one, but I have a canon 400D and my friend has the canon 40D so I'd pretty much stick by canon, the 400D isperfect for the beginner and you get the hang of it so quickly, they've brought out the 450D but it's more expensive and I'm sure it's not much different to the 400D

  3. There isn't much difference between them.

They all use the same (very good) sensor and have much the same controls and firmware (you can update the older ones for free).

The e-410 is the oldest (just) so probably cheapest.

It's small, light and very good.

Buy the two lens kit for best value.

They tweaked it for the 420 but it's not worth the extra.

The 510 is bigger and has image stabilising built in...but it's not really worth the extra.

The 520 has been tweaked with a few extra settings but, again, it's not worth the extra cash.

  4. I LOVE MY E410.  It's small some men don't like that.  If you have never used an SLR before you are going to want to take a class or read a book.  There is so much you can do with these camera.

The Olympus Manual is like a how to book.  It breaks everything down for you.  EVERYTHING it even has a glossary.  It's the best manual I have even seen.  This is my first DSLR.  I have always used a 35-mm SLR.  With my experience with my old SLR and the manual it only took me a day to feel like I had the camera all my life.  If you read the manual you will feel comfortable with it in a few days.

So if you look over your manual and actually read it you will better understand your cameras abilities.

I got my E410 refurbished with lens for $330. I love it,  it is everything I want. I looked at others they were all really heavy and I hate the button placement on the cannon rebel.  The Nikon D40 was nice but not any better then my Olympus. Only thing is the lenses for these cameras are expense and there is not as much of a verity to pick from as far as brands go. But they are good lenses.  That's the only down side to the Olympus.

Olympus always gets over looked but dammit they make a great camera.

They are all good go with the one that is in your price rang and has the features you want.
