All the speakers in my apartment are crackling! Please help

All of a sudden, for the past week all of the speakers in my apartment crackle horribly. At first I thought it was just one set of speakers I had, but now its all of my speakers. This is too odd to be a coincidence and it cant be a vaccum or blender because its been going on for days. If you have any ideas what it could be please help because I am out of solutions. Thanks

Either something is interferring with your stereo signal (air-conditioning does it in my friend's house), or your speakers are just plain shot!  Did you crank the music recently?
