  1. For your medical requirements check on these sources below

  2. Well, you are asking for volumes of information. I can't provide that for you in such a small place, so I'll give you a breakdown that should atleast be helpful.

    Learning to fly:

-You can pay to  be taught at a local flight school. It is expensive. You can expect to pay at least $145 per hour for the plane and instructor. They can certify you all the way through your multi-engine instructor rating.

-You can go to a professional flight academy, which is  basically a full time flight school that may have connectins with some small airlines for placement if your graduate from the training program with a high enough aptitude. These too can be very expensive. You can pay $100K for this training.

-The military. You can either get an appointment to one of the service academies and select aviation as your career path. Or you can get your degree at a civillian college and apply to the military's aviation program.

    Getting hired by an airline.

-There's no set method to achieving this. Ultimately, you need to build flight time. Most people do it as a flight instructor. The most succesful applicants have multi-engine turbine or jet time under their belt. The best place to get that is the military. Otherwise, you will be working as aflight instructor for a few years until you build up enough time to qualify for an interview with the small regional airlines.

-Getting hired by UPS or one of the major cargo carrieers is kinda shooting for the cream of the crop in aviation jobs. They hire very few people because the turn over is very low. Needless to say, the competition for those jobs is EXTREMELY stiff. Thousands of highly qualified pilots apply to those carriers every year, and less than 1% get an interview. Far fewer actually get a job.

    Pay:

-Flight instructor  $6k to $14k per year

-First officer on a small regional  airline $20k to $30k

-Captain for small regional line $40k to $60k

-First officer for major airline (depending on aircraft) $30k to $70k

-Captain for major line (depending on aircraft) $60k to $225k

-Freight carriers usually $100k to $250k depending on aircraft and route

  3. You are asking for too much information for the space available.  The best way to get the answers to all your questions is to find the nearest airport where flight instruction is offered.  Your local telephone directory will guide you.  Go there and talk to the flight instructors.  They will give you the picture for your location and circumstances.

    Good luck!

  4. Your question is too general to be able to answer in the space provided here.

I suggest you visit your local flight training center and they will be able to answer all of your questions and probably even give you handouts that further explain what you need to know.

"Oh, I have slipped the surly bonds of Earth...."

    Good luck.
