  1. we do already but they are in the form of passive infrared detectors that are used to turn lights on and off

  2. Solar powered and Kinetic powered both are battery powered watches... Both energies stored in a re-chargeable battery as electrical energy, and then watches use from it.

Most of the body heat appears on the body not at the wrists. Furthermore most of workers, at the office (air conditioned most of them) and to home by car, bus, train (air conditioned most of them) at home even they do small jobs (air conditioned most of them) their body will not produce enough heat to produce enough current to supply to the watch and store in the battery.

On the other hand, kinetic watches pick up every single little movement and transfer into current, so this is more officiant than body heat.

Furthermore kinetic watches stayed still more than a few days or so.., then the watch should be reset. Automatic mechanical wind up watches which was popular in 60s and 70s, but they also stayed still one day or so.., then those watches should be reset.

Solar cell watches charge not only from sunlight but table lamp or nightstand lamb is enough to charge the battery.

If these solar cell watches placed under any kind of lights then they need not to reset.

  3. If you took it off, it would lose the time, unless it had a battery to store the energy, but we're back to battery-powered watches, so why not just keep them less expensive and leave out the circuit to generate power from body heat?

    Cool idea though.

  4. Hello.... im sure we will one day...
