All web hosting sites restrict how much you can put on in terms of space and can also restrict your bandwidth

Question

I would like to know if they

1) use a certain piece of software to do that.

2) Use certain scripts (specify please)

List your answers in numbers, extra information under neath the listed numbers/answers

p.s. i heard you use quota management is that true? i thought you could not use that for a website but on servers such as school networks. are networks and server the same thing? You tell me!

I think most webhosts can automatically restrict it via their control panel (Usually WHM). I could be wrong tho :). Good Luck :D
