All year long on the beach in Rio De Janeiro (Copacabana, Impanema)? Even in the winter?

Hi, I was wondering what the weather was like in Rio during the winter months and if people stay on the beach all year long? Thanks guys!

  1. First of all, the seasons are backwards, so it gets the hottest in January and February and the lowest temp are in July, it doesn't really get cold at all during their winter but it gets real cloudy and rainy, Cariocas loooove the sun so when its cloudy they DO NOT GO to the beach but Rio De Janeiro is endless fun all year round with or without people at the beach.

    low seasons can be great cause is not so crowded, Copacabana is really crowded even w/o tourists, also you get better prices and better selection of hotel rooms and apartments(apts are the best deal)

  2. We stay on the beach all year long but some times like very unusual it can get chilly but it wont last more than a week.

  3. I think all year long...........AND i was told American winter is Brasilian summer and vise versa. At the most you might get down into the 50 farenhite and some afternoon showers in winter. look on weather.com
