All you Metal Guitarist's?

Hey, i'm 14 and have been playing guitar for about 3 month's, I want to play stuff like Children of Bodom,Pantera stuff like that any tips for playing thoese fast solo's and practicing tips. thanks@

I was the same, you want to play solos and it hurts to play chords! I recommend you build up to it, play scales slowly and gradually get more familiar with the guitar then speed up.

Find the tab on the internet and then do the same, play slowly and when you do that well, increase the speed gradually, I know it's frustrating because it doesn't sound like the original at first, but persevere and it'll soon sound really good.

First, find the tab for the song online. If you know somebody that has been playing guitar for very long, you can ask them if it's accurate.

Then, If they say it's accurate, try to play it verrry verry slowly. try to build up speed, and soon you'll be like dimebag darell!
