All you field hockey players...?

when your a beginner at field hockey, does your hand hurt alot at first? when i was playing today, i kept hitting the ball really hard. i am right handed so my right hand was at the bottom and left at the top. after a while my left hand in the bottom right corner hurts really bad. it feels bruised. is this normal or am i holding the stick wrong? plus any tips to help me make the team?

  1. You're holding it right!

    Just use your right hand to control the stick and watch your left hand. Its just there for support.
