All you redheads in the UK take a look at what I have to say.?

Okay, now that you're reading this I wrote a question about a couple of days ago saying how fed up I am of this act of discrimination that we are continuously having to put up with.

I know that most, nearly all of you out there just ignore it and carry on moving forward, but moving forward to what? Just being picked on more?

Letting the government excuse the fact that this bullying that we have to put up with is only minor? We have to stop it, and I want to find out who is in this with me? The blacks who were discriminated against ended up moving to peace and equality. Now the homo-sexuals are moving towards equality.

It's time for us to start putting a foot down too. I'm clueless on how but I did think about starting one of those peaceful protest things but the real question is how can I get other redheads involved? :(

There aren't many of us sure, but if we all work together, something surely has to be done.

Thanks for taking your time to read this, please just let me know what you think.

  1. I've found that people have stopped making fun of red heads.......infact a couple of my friends who are models have been told to dye their hair red by their bosses......apparently it is very in now adays....so i think things are already moving towards equality.......and besides no offence but the discrimination of red heads was nothing compared to that towards blacks / homosexuals.....didn't hear about any red heads being lynched.....

  2. ok just to let you know , i dnt know of any discrimination of redhead round here in malta BUT lemme tel u one thing. most of the guys i kno think red heads r the hottest women ^.^

im envious of england, scotland and ireland many redheads round there . round here maybe 2-5 redheads in a school of 500-700 ppl

  3. Well I don't know where you're from but I'm glad I don't live there.  The only ginger I'm close to is Stuart, and you could hardly say he's bullied! He's highly proud of being ginger and takes all the teasing as good craic! (His hair is a shocking bright orange.)

One time when the Spanish exchange guy came into class, he pointed at Stuart and said 'oh, es el pelirojo', to which our teacher burst out laughing and said that he'd called Stuart 'the little redhead'. it was so funny!

If redheads are discriminated aginst, what are blondes?!

  4. i think its just redheads in your area that get bullied

the ones im my area are just normal

    stpo over reacting

  5. Start A Petition, Post Bulletins All Over The City And School Bulletin Board, Myspace, Start A Facebook Group.  Those Are Some Good Starters Cuz You're Right This Does Need To Be Stopped And It Is As Bad As Racism.  When People Are Being Abused, Murdered, Violated, And Everything Else And Nothings Being Done Someone Has To Do Something. Gluck : )

  6. I'm bald baby. As a coot.

I'd love to have my red hair back. Boo Hoo

  7. Hi I'm the old ginger man who went white

I'm up for it, stop the bullying... am with you

  8. Hahahaha lol

  9. Whats up with redheads in the UK??  I'm American. How are you picked on?

  10. Red hair is hot!

(By the way, Redheads don't have a problem here in America...)

  11. I'm bullied sometimes for being blonde. Stupid blonde, dumb blonde, not-serious-because-she's-blonde, tart, easy, illiterate...

I get where you're coming from, but then where you would you draw the line with this?  Where do equal rights have something to do with hair colour?  Race, s*x, age and sexual preference I can understand but not hair colour.  I don't know of any place that would turn you away for your hair colour.

I'm not saying that someone saying something bad about your red hair is acceptable, but sometimes you just have to ignore the comments and move on with things.

  12. what??

why are you making it such a big deal?

i no loads of gorgeous red heads..attenion seeker much?

Blondes get called dumb way more than red heads get teased..but we get over it!

i dont see loads of jokes about redheads as there is blondes!

GET OVER IT everyone gets teased for something at somepoint..urs just happens to be hair colour

  13. Me mum was ginger. She was a brilliant person mentally and in her humour. I think any discrimination is sick and incredibly stupid.

I am light brown with ginger highlights, so on one has been mean to me, and me mum...If someone had given her shiiite,   the h**l they would have paid.

From her or me dad. But as a national thing. Purely disgusting.

  14. i never knew they actually had hair discrimintation in the UK...that isn't happening in the USA..maybe you could get a peace protest or something if it is actually an issue there.

  15. Although I have a dark red tint to my hair (mostly in the sun) I am not much use to you in a protest for red-headed people. I just thought I'd tell you that I think red hair's pretty and I like it, and not to let people who bully you get you down :)

  16. You are right in the fact that some "ginger" headed folks get discriminated against. When I was going to school our math teacher maintained that all "carrot heads" where as thick as two short planks. My youngest sister turned out as a red head and she was the only one out of the four of us to go to and graduate from collage, she now works in corporate finance, so the teacher was aff his chumph

  17. Are you serious? I don't know anyone who discriminates against hair color...

    Hm, maybe I'm just unaware.

  18. But I thought that redheads were supposed to be, er.........

Well, my wife is anyhow (I'm very pleased to admit)!

Talking about discrimination and stereotyping, what about Essex Blondes? Or does that go too far? LOL!!!

  19. LOL
