  1. I just run for the heck of it and it depends on if I'm running with myself or my friends or my dog. I'm not really sure how much you should run a week though


  2. i got into running because my girlfriend at the time was a runner and it stuck,,,what used to motivate me was signing up for different road races,,it was fun to go to different towns and run a race, get a t shirt,,try to improve my times,,,then i got bored and stoppped running, got lazy, got fat, wanted to get back into shape so i started running again and it was hard to get into it,,then i tried a friends iPod Shuffle,,,and now i love to run again,,running with music is so much fun,,all those old songs on there make me remember things from the past,,i like to run on trails in the woods now,,with my iPod,,very early inthe mornign whenno one else is out there,,its the best

  3. im motivated to run because i like it!  you shouldn't need any more motivation than enjoyment.  when i started running i was going around 2-3 miles a day and eventually built it up to 4-5.  now in preparation for cross country i go on longer distance runs from 6-8 miles occasionally.  i would reccomend running about 5 days a week, your body needs time to recover.

  4. I run because I love to run, but I don't run ALL the time.

    For example, I've been at camp lately, and I ran 63 miles during those 3 weeks, but I didn't run on weekends.

    I've been home for a week and a half, but I've only ran twice so far.

    So I just like to run, plus it burns off calories!

  5. It depends why you're running.  Are you running  for cross country or to get fit?

    The best thing to do is run with a partner or with music.  Then reward yourself by getting a smoothie or something.

    It's good to run from anywhere to 20-60 minutes and change it up so you're use to it.  You should run like 4-6 days a week.
