The Hammers boss was extremely furious at his side’s loss, and insisted that individual errors cost his side the game at the end.
West Ham United head coach, Sam Allardyce, was extremely disappointed with his side’s 1-0 defeat at the hands of Reading at Madejski Stadium on Saturday, December 29.
The Hammers dominated proceedings away from home right from the first whistle. However, they failed to convert their dominance into goals.
On the other hand, the Royals capitalised on a http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Pavel-Pogrebnyak-c29501 broke the deadlock within the opening five minutes of the match that proved to be enough for the home side to grab all three points at the end of 90 minutes.

And the 58-year-old tactician admitted that they have got no one to blame for the defeat but themselves.
“We shot ourselves in the foot from the early stages. James Collins has been solid for us this season but he made a basic error and they took full advantage. Reading defended deep in numbers and [Ricardo] Vaz [Te] has missed a glaring, glaring chance and two errors mean we have not taken any points against them. We are bitterly disappointed not to come away with a point”, Allardyce was quoted as saying to BBC Sport.
The former Newcastle United boss went on to admit that they did not deserve to bag even a point after making such errors.
“James Collins makes a basic error, they take advantage of it then Vaz Te misses the chance. You make those types of mistakes, you can't expect to get anything out of a game at this level”, Allardyce concluded.
West Ham United remains unmoved at the 12th spot in the Premier League standings. They will lock horns against Norwich City at home on Tuesday, January 1.
Allardyce would be hoping that his side puts behind their poor performance against Reading, and start afresh against the http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Canaries-c38723, who have also struggled to achieve consistent results this term.
