  2. I don't think it will happen so don't worry

I'm English and proud of my country but am in favour of a replublic.

I refuse to bow and scrape to a pampered winner of a genetic lottery

  3. don't like the idea of it myself....it's not like America here...... were we are all one proud nation.more like 4 nations each with there own identity and national pride as a proud Scot i would never swear my allegiance to the queen as i consider her a English  queen i think a lot of Irish and welsh would feel the same........

                          ........stay proud multicol.......

  4. When my son gets older I will not make him swear allegiance to some unelected undemocratic women who lives in luxury. What is that exactly teaching the children? Maybe getting a country children can be proud of would be a good start. Can you imagine trying to get kids to swear and salute the flag or whatever? I dont think so.

  5. You would be better employed by attending English lessons than worrying about pledging allegiance to the Queen.

  6. It just means that we'd be devoted to serve and protect the queen. Basically we're her people, she'll protect us if we protect her position as head of state.

    Something like that.

  7. I am a 30something, and I would rather teach my child at home, than make it go to school for a minimum of 12 years, for him to then make an allegiance with a doley scrounger, who gets housing off the tax payer, etc!

  8. Actually, the Queen`s Mother came from a very old Scottish family.  There are also other Scots in the lineage of the royal family.

  9. Dont worry  you dont need to do it  if you dont want too i will def never swear allegiance to someone who  doesnt give a toss about the working class.

  10. She actually HAS done alot for Britain - England, Scotland and all. She is a full time politician and diplomat, who has the respect of most every World leader who meets her. Who else would you have represent us? Mr.Brown? huh? would that be good? 'course not.

Also, for the religious amongst us. She is ordained by god...mneh.

  11. Good for you, it's nice to see young people actually using their minds on here.
