Nonetheless, the game had plenty of excitement to offer to the fans, as it was played from end to end, and could have gone either way.
Commenting on the end result, the 22-year old insisted his team were unfortunate not to bag three points out of the fixture. However, he felt that the draw will serve to lift the morale of the entire unit, and Rodgers playing philosophy will soon start to
bear fruits.
“It was pretty frantic at times. For the neutral, I’m sure it was a great game; from our point of view, it was brilliant to have gone ahead twice but disappointing not go on to win the game,” the former Swansea City player told the reporters in an interview.
“Obviously the style of play is a big positive factor for everyone, and we’re confident that’s going to get us results throughout the season.”

“Of course, we knew we’d bounce back with a better performance and I think that was obvious from the start,” he added.
