  1. Omigosh, I'll check back to get an answer.

I'm the same way, but I don't get a headache, cough, or sore throat..

but sneezing non-stop is annoying enough, and I get an itchy throat.

I refuse to give up my cat. =[

And I'm allergic to Zyrtec, and any other allergy medication that has the same ingredient as Zyrtec.

    It sucks!

  2. you need to see an asthma and allergy physician. Most of the time they can make up remedies to help you. the worst case scenario is that you will be on allergy shots. I highly reccomend that you do not take prednisone for long periods of time because it is so hard on your body. They will even tell you that the cat needs to go. I understand you love your kitty, but its your health that is the concern. This is not to be taken lightly.

  3. You really really should consider letting the cat go.  If not you will always be in periods of regression and exacerbation of your symptoms.  You need to find an antihistamine that works for you.  Preferably a non-drowsy one.  Benadryl would work great but it makes you drowsy.  The problem with most anihistamines is they have several noticeable side effects, drowsiness being one of them.

If I were you I would see an allergist.  They can do a test to see "how" allergic you are and offer allergy shots to help with your symptoms.
