Allianz upgrades partnership with German Football Association- Bundesliga news
Financial services Group, Allianz, has further upgraded its partnership with the German Football Association and is now the official partner of the DFB. The company has now become the partner of all the DFB national teams which
includes the youth teams and the men’s and women’s national sides.
The insurance giant had earlier partnered the Women’s national football team when it took part in the World Cup this year in http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Germany-c2904. The team had a successful tournament and eventually were knocked out of the quarter-finals at
the hands of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Japan-c2928, who went on to win the competition.
A member of the company’s marketing management board, Bernd Heinemann, claimed that Allianz is delighted to have reached an agreement with the German Football Association. He added that the company had earlier been affiliated with
the national Women’s football team and with Bavarian giants Bayern Munich and is elated to become the official partner to promote all categories of football in the country.
“The new partnership with the DFB complements the approach of Allianz to position itself as a comprehensive partner of football in Germany – in addition to promoting the FIFA Women’s World Cup, the naming rights to the Allianz
Arena and the commitment to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/FC-Bayern-Munich-c39081,” he was quoted as saying.
DFB’s Marketing Director Denni Strich confirmed the agreement in a press release and revealed that an agreement has been reached until the end of 2014. He also expressed his delight on the sponsorship deal and admitted that the
Association is proud to cooperate and work with the institution.
“We are delighted that Allianz will add value to the DFB sponsorship at least until the end of 2014. This result assures us of our work with our loyal and innovative partners,” Strich stated.
Allianz had already been affiliated with giants Bayern Munich and have the naming rights of the club’s stadium, Allianz Arena. The stadium is shared between Bayern Munich and TSV 1860 Munich from the start of the 2005-06 campaign.
The financial services provider had acquired the rights of the stadium for a time period of 30 years.
