The Bush Administration is blaming the rebates and the economy. I'm blaming wasteful spending and entanglement in a trillion dollar middle east fiasco. What do you nice people think?

  1. You are absolutely correct.

Of course the Bush administration will look elsewhere to blame except for itself.

  2. Bush started the deficit spending long before the wars, when he gave tax cuts to the rich.

then he increased the size of govt, and didnt raise taxes

then he invaded and occupied two countries and didnt raise taxes

so here we are 5 trillion borrowed

  3. it isnt a trillion dollar middle east fiasco, military operations in Afghanistan, Iraq and elsewhere around the world not even one trillion total.  (not annually like deficit)  My i remind you that there is a global recession and that he didnt act alone (multiple branches of government.)

  4. I blame the Fed, irresponsible spending by both the Dems and Repubs, and the fractional banking system. Bush is by far not blameless, but to blame just him is idiocy.

  5. Every year under Clinton the federal budget improved. He turned a record budget deficit from Bush Sr. into record budget surpluses. Then Bush Jr. came along and set new deficit records. You do the math.
