Markus Rosenberg will join Claudio Pizarro out of Werder Bremen but the club’s sporting director does not feel the imminent need to find replacements or sign new forwards.
Werder Bremen sporting director Klaus Allofs suggested that the Weserstadion outfit has enough firepower in their ranks that they do not need to make a move for a forward in the current transfer window.

The Green-Whites desperately need a clinical finisher and need to solidify their attack, but Allofs seems adamant and does not believe that the club is in a critical time and might suffer due to the inexperience on the frontline.
The supremo suggested that in his opinion, Elia can make-shift as a striker effectively. The 25-year-old is believed to take up that role due to a lack of options. The chief claimed that the Bundesliga outfit might bring in a new
striker but that seems unlikely as he thinks they are good in the striking department for now.
"For me, Elia is also a striker. It may be that we do something in that area, but we don't need to,” the Bremen chief was quoted as saying in an interview.
Allofs further stressed that this need for a forward will always be up for an argument but the executives of the German side are happy with the current squad and are raring to go for the next season.
"The fact that it can be always discussed is clear. But we believe we are well stocked for the new season," the former Werder Bremen striker concluded.
Elia endured a tough time in Serie A with Juventus where he made only four appearances and was forced to hand a transfer request. The player returns to the Bundesliga having previously played for Hamburg SV.
