Allotment search hitting a dead end?

are there any allotments in dinnington because ive searched the web on my local councils site (rotherham metropolitan) and ive hit a dead end the most i have come up with has been my local parish councils minutes saying a random man wants the council to take the allotments into there hands so i know there are some but i need the contact info and if there not council owned there is no pointin phoning them if anyone knows the contact info please let me know many thanks

  1. It might still be worth a call to your local council. Even if they aren't council owned, they should know where they are.

    I've recently taken on a half plot myself (not in your local area). You might end up taking on an unused plot which requires a lot of work i.e. a bramble patch, so if you do find one view it as a long term project, but enjoy. I've cleared about a third of my bramble patch and have a few things growing.

    looks like the best thing is to look about yourself, ask local gardening clubs etc. if theres nothing from the council. good luck, i hope you get a plot!
