  1. my little sister is 10 and me and her get 8 dollars a week. for your doughter probably 50 dollars a month                                 (you said she has good grades and shes a good kid)

  2. If you keep doing your chores every week, $10 seems pretty good. So about $40 a month.

  3. what ever your budget can afford. and what she is doing as far as chores go. I would say 15-20 a week.

  4. I'm 14, i get $20 a month, but I also work as a referee for soccer on the weekends and get paid about $10 a game and sometimes up to an additional $30 or $40

  5. Oh each month everyone not week. Well I'm 15 and I get 50 bucks a week.

  6. no allowance! she needs 2 learn the value of money! doing chores is expected of me and if i want money i will ask my mom for extra chores...and i get straight a's!

  7. Depends on what she's doing around the house.

    I'm 17, have a job, I technically get $20 every other week.

BUT I pay for texting, insurance, and internet on my phone, so it's like $10 a month.

    So yea. Whatever works

  8. I'd say $10 - $30. Tell her to save and if she wants something make double money or something then buy it.

  9. I think she should find a job like a waitress where she can make some money and get some expierence.

  10. I like the dollar a day thing for doing your chores.

They will learn to keep their house/room clean.

And the whole responsibility thing =]

    So $30 - $50.

Depending on your money, how many kids you have, and what kind of child they are.

  11. We used to get a dollar a day that all the chores were done, so that worked out to thirty a month.  Though, we were a little poor growing up.

I would say that, maybe, fifty isn't too bad, if she's a good kid and your financial situation is good.  Do pay attention to what she spends it on, though (you don't have to question her, just be aware).

  12. 15-20 a week.IF she does her chores.

  13. i wouldnt give her an allowance for her grades in school because that it is her future not yours.  but for doing good thinds such as chores, helping you out etc. i would say about 15-25$

  14. Well im 15 and I get 60 a week cause I help my mum at her work but before that I got 20 a week :)

  15. $10 depending on what she does

  16. I think it depends on what area you are in.  Look at what it costs to go to the movies ($9 in my area), McDonalds for a hamburger, fries and a drink (just over $7), bowling ($3 a line).  The adjust the allowance accordingly.  But always don't go over the family budget.

While an allowance is important to teach kids how to handle money, they also have to realize that their allowance is part of a family budget.  Besides, she should be doing a few little chores to help out to earn her allowance also.

  17. $10-$20 dollars a week depending on your own income...
