Allowed in airports?

Are graphing or scientific calculators allowed? I need it to do my math homework on the plane.

  5. they shouldn't care about your calculator. They might think it's special, if it doesn't have phone numbers and addresses.

    Just tell them it's old fashioned and doesn't store that information. It only adds numbers. No rolling of eyes.

    My last trip through DFW involved telling the custom agent how I knew EVERY person in my phonebook. When I balked, she told me she could search me, thoroughly. I told her how I met everyone, how many years I'd known them and I was still scared she was gonna make use of her rubber glove.
