Allowed to fly with temporary license?

Question

I just lost my purse and am planning on flying from MA to FL on July 4th. In the state of Mass, when they issue a replacement license they give you a paper one and you wait for your actual license to arrive in the mail. I tried looking around on google to see if there were specific requirements about temporary licenses but didn't see anything like that. Does anyone know? Thanks!

from what i am told a temp license wont work  check the tsa web sight or call the airlines or go to the airlines web sight
