i am worried about asking my parents about getting a guinea pig. i don't think that they will allow becuase over the last two months i have gotten a hamster and two gerbils. i bought the gerbils like three weeks ago and they strictly said NO MORE PETS. they also said that when i got my hamster. lets say your my parents and i come to you asking for a guinea pig. i tell you that i really want one and i have printed out a whole bunch of info for you. i have already had one before and you loved it. you know that i have been doing extra stuff around the house and i really really want this. but your really hate it when they die. the is one of the only reasons that you don't want one. would you let m get it? why or why not

  1. no i wouldnt.

    unless i was a pushover.

  2. I'm 13 and I have a Golden Retriever who turns 2 years old on the 27th of December. She is totally mine :) I trained her and feed her and walk her and clean up after her, and I wouldn't have it any other way. I'm very responsible for her and my parents know it.

Seeing as you sound a lot like me and my dog Casey, I'll tell you now if you tell your parents all of this they will say yes if not on condition.

  3. I wouldnt because you already have pets

  4. as a parent, i would probably have you wait a few weeks to see if you were still really interesting in having it. i would also take into account during that time of how well you were actually caring for the pets you already have. it's good you found all the info...but what is your care like for your pets? do you just feed/water/ and clean them or do you actually spend time with them as well?

  5. i would leave it for a while and prove that you are capable of taking care of the pets you have and then ask.  i myself believe in letting my kids have pets so they learn to take care of them... but how many pets is enough?

  6. If you are paying for it yourself, paying for most of the stuff to take care of it and are taking good care of them then I would be ok with my child having one. Especially having done your research. If the main reason they don't want one is the other one died what was the reason? That would be something to research to prevent happening again.

  7. id make u pay 4 it urself dats it. ya im cool
