Allternative careers;)?

Hey there everybody!

Im 21 and have lived in Cyprus, travelled Europe on my own, studied arts for almost three years on and off.

Im now giving up my degree because I have realized how terrible my home institution is. I am currently studying Sculpture and Painting in Cracow at the Jan Matejko Academy on an Erasmus program. I love painting and arts, but feel that a degree in the UK prevents me from enjoying what Im doing. Im not fond of the binge drinking and whole student thang...I want to do something different: Burlesque dancing, roller rink *****, drag king, apprentice for something creative, runner...anything amazing.Im a great roller skater, can speak some french and have an amazing character! Any suggestions where I can find these jobs?? Uk or abroad

Maybe you should try to explore some options. Take a "gap year" and work on different things during that year. Try a work abroad program, volunteering program or adventure program. Here is a directory of work and volunteer abroad programs where you can get started:

Working at Disney in the US might be fun, but you may want to try going to France and getting a couple of gigs there. Maybe you'll fall in love with your art once again and go to school there. Who knows! The opportunities are endless. Try different things, explore the things that seem interesting to you and you won't regret a thing.

Rollerskating is big in the U.S. Maybe check out google. They have a lot of entertainment built around this sport. Even in Disneyland :)) could be fun for a while anyhow.

You seem well rounded and obviously friendly - This is amazing you get to meet all sorts of different people in different cultures and as long as you believe in yourself and the product - Its amazing
