Allyn d**k bags his fourth Scottish Order of Merit

Allyn d**k bagged his fourth Scottish Order of Merit. d**k produced one of the finest performances of his career to win it.
He had a bad start to the three-day tournament. On the first day, d**k was three-over-par after only six holes. He still managed to end the day in 71 shots and had a level par.
On the second day, the 33-year-old exhibited a great show of golf. About his game, he said, “as good as I ever have”. He carded an amazing 63 in the second round. His score at the time was eight-under-par.
The climax of his game was when d**k scored five consecutive birdies. He had a two-shot lead half way through his amazing performance.
After that, the Scottish professional golfer was never caught. During most part of the third day, d**k had a five point lead. After a great finish from the defending Champion, Paul Ferrier, his lead reduced to three shots.
With this, the game came to an end and the 33-year-old had a magnificent three-shot win.
After the match, in an interview, d**k said, “I’m over the moon to join some of the great names on this trophy”.
This was his fourth win in the Scottish Order of Merit. “I can’t think of anyone in recent seasons who had recorded four Order of Merit wins in four years,” said d**k.
Two years ago, d**k was said to be too old and his sport-Scotland funding was taken away. He was no more part of the National set-up.
A few more wins in the next couple of weeks can put him right back on track and he can make it to the Glasgow Gailes in mid-August.
“It’s an easy thing for me to influence in the next three weeks as selection is based on a strict criteria but it won’t be the end of the world if I don’t make the Scotland side again,” he said.
The Scottish player is sure about his game and taking no stress, if he gets selected or not. Analysts believe that, in the light of his recent form and his performance, d**k is a strong contender for the Scottish side.
