Almond and B17?

1 - do ALL almonds have B17?

2 - does the almonds have to be raw for it to have B17, or would it still have it even if if it was roasted?

3 - how many almonds would you need to eat to get a "recommended daily value" of B17 (for an adult)?

  1. 1. The only almonds with the sufficient amount of Laetrile are the bitter almonds.

    2. No, roasting does not impair the B17, but it does destroy the unlocking enzyme. By roasting you lose the benefits from the chemical activity to the enzymes in the mouth, stomach, and intestines.

    3.  It does depend on the body wight, but it should be 10 to 20 of those seeds.(there is nothing as recommended value).

    Apricot seeds are much better but.
