Almond shaped eyes and olive skin..?

ok so i have been reading harry potter lately i admit... and i came across these two terms.

what do they mean when they say 'almond shaped eyes' and 'olive skin' pls?

Almond-shaped eyes:  sort of pointy-ish, basically the opposite of a "round" eye...all you really need to do is look at the shape of an almond to find out! (Lots of asians have almond-shaped eyes.)

Olive skin:  This one is a little trickier to explain...caucasions have a variety of skin tones, such as yellowish or pinkish undertones.  When I think "olive" skin, I think Mediterranean.  It is sort of tan-looking (think: the opposite of a fair-skinned red-head--well, just their skin tone, obviously).
