Almost 37weeks pregnant with a tummy ache?

hi i'm almost 37 weeks and i'm having a tummy ache i feel very full even though i have not ate at all and i also have been having diarrhea for 2 days now.this makes me feel so uncomfortable but please no worries i don't feel like i'm dying i have a doctors appointment in the morning and this is going to be the first thing i'm going to tell my doctor but my mind is wondering what could it be? thank you!!!!!!!

I have battled with this for so long, and have been having the EXACT same issues, as you can see, we are only 3 days apart when it comes to due dates.

All I was told by my OB, was that it was 'Normal' (Not saying I WANTED something to be wrong, it's just frustrating to know this can still happen for 3 more weeks) and that the baby getting bigger just puts more pressure on various places, which unfortunately also means the bowels.

I panicked myself because I was told that diarrhea is a sign of pre-term labor, even told it by a few nurses, but my OB, and other nurses said it was completly unrelated!

Good luck with everything, if it helps, immodium is safe to take for the diarrhea, just half, or quarter the dosage even, I ended up constipated, and that was even more awful!

I am also 37 weeks...due 9/24/08!  I can't eat very much anymore either, and sometimes i haven't even ate and I feel FULL!   I also have been having very loose stools lately and feel nauseated alot. I went to the Dr today and he said....oh thats normal, just getting close!  Baby is taking up alot of room now and pushing on every organ in there!  Just hang in there! We can do it!
