I am due tuesday. I am in pain.. its uncomfortable to sit, uncomfortable to lay down and hard to walk. I been pretty moody the past two days and it seems like everyone wants to call me 10x a day and ask me what I am doing, am I having cramps...saying its not going to be long now. Its driving me nuts. I just want to be left alone! Everyone takes it personally if I say I dont want to talk, and if I just don't answer the phone they just keep calling back! I am bouncing back and forth between just wanting to sleep and nesting and wanting to clean and get things done, and it seems like everyone else wants to tell me what I should be doing. Anyone else just want to be left alone around their due date?

  1. I'm due Sunday and just want everyone to leave me alone and let me clean and sleep!!! Best thing I did was turn off my cell phone and take the house phone off the hook!

  2. Boy I certainly did with both of my last pregnancies!  I'm only 34 weeks now and so far, I'm ok.  It's totally normal to want to just be left alone when you are so uncomfortable and just want to be done with pregnany.

  3. here is what i would do. change my voicemail greeting to "hey guys, i'm still pregnant and i'm pretty miserable. don't be offended but i really just want to be left alone right now so i'll call you back later okay?"

that sounds reasonable and it should be fairly self explanatory for them.

  4. My mom just called to tell me she was praying for me so I should expect to go into labor any minute... Ugh! I'm sick of all the comments- go jump on a trampoline, go 4-wheeling, drink some hot sauce, etc. I have a one year old and I'm just exhausted, I slept like 14 hours last night, and had an hour long nap today and it's still not enough. Apparently people think its necessary for me to know their constant whereabouts (just in case). The worst part of pregnancy is the waiting, people are just making it worse by pestering me. My husband insists people keep bugging me because they care, but I think they're just being selfish- if they really cared, they wouldn't call at all, or they would try to distract me.

  5. okay if you have cramps, you might be in labor, if they get steadily more painful, then your in labor, wait till your water breaks before going to the hospital though

  6. I'm also due Tuesday but I don't think he's ever gonna come! I'm VERY moody...I think it's just the stress...unplug your phone, lay down and don't worry about anyone else....that's what I try to do anyway...

  7. Yup.  I'm 37 weeks and I am so big and uncomfortable and my pelvic bones/lower back hurt so much!.  But I'm still working full time and that doesn't help.  My feet are so swollen by the time I get home that I can hardly get my socks off.  It's miserable.  I wish I could just sit on my *** all day at home and do nothing.

  8. I'm only 24 weeks pregnant. I hope that doesn't happen to me. Just unplug your phone, or put your cellphone on silence.
