Former Arsenal shot stopper, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Manuel-Almunia-c23386 has gone on to admit that he is disappointed to not have won many trophies with the North London club, but feels that the constant squad changes caused the Gunners to suffer a lot of problems.
The Spaniard went on to part ways with Arsenal on the 30th of June, as he signed for Watford. This move was made possible, as the Gunners went on to release him from his contract and allowed him to leave the team on a free.
When he left the team, he ended an eight year long spell, during which he only managed to win one FA Cup. The keeper feels that winning just one trophy was rather disappointing, but feels that the transitional stage that the team were in, made it harder for them to win more silverware.
"As a player at Arsenal, it is hard to see the best players go to other clubs every year. They have missed a lot of great players in the last few years,” Almunia said in a recent interview.

"The first year I came to http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/England-c749, I thought 'Oh, I'm going to win a lot of things with Arsenal' but the change then started. The club has been changing every year."
However, the keeper feels that the team have finally made it out of that transitional stage and the new faces that they have brought in, can really help them move forward.
He highlighted the signings of http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Lukas-Podolski-c22896 and Olivier Giroud, while admitting that the capture of Santi Cazorla is quite simply a master stroke from the team.
"One of these years, everything has to come together and be perfect, and now is the time for Arsenal," Almunia said.
"They've signed some good players this year, http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Santi-Cazorla-c32505 is fantastic."
The rate at which http://www.senore.com/Football-soccer/Arsenal-c38429 are making changes at the club this summer, it seems like the team has finally seen the light and are looking to end their trophy drought.
There has been a dramatic change in their mentality and with their former players also pointing it out, it seems like the team is on an upwards slope from here on.
