Alopecia areata???????

i got my first injections last wednesday and i've been putting in my lotion twice everday and so far i still only have very very little hair growing in the spots. i got the disease in end of may. But i got injections on july 30. Is there anything wrong?? how much longer until they are gone?

  1. I received steroid shots into my scalp when I was younger for alopecia, if this is what your talking about then continue reading...

    I noticed results within about 2 months. However, these were not permanent results. The prognosis really depends on how old you are, amount, location and pattern of hair loss. I stopped treatment all together and began focusing my energy on my self-esteem and other aspects of my life. However, I hope it works for you,,,and quickly as I know this disease is such a pain in the butt.

  3. nothing is wrong...  wait about 3 more months. i got 3 injections over a period of 3 months and on the 4th month, i couldn't tell the difference between the affected area from the unaffected.
