  1. Actually according to my autistic spectrum son's SLP autistic spectrum disorders are frequently a comorbidity of dyslexia.  This is due to the abnormal neuronal connections in the frontal lobe.  According to the SLP this is more common than ASD's with bipolar (common due to low serotonin levels in both).  ASD's are most known for being a comorbidity of ADHD/ADD

  2. did you know that Asperger's has a long wide of symptoms too, like for instance spelling problems, so some do get muddled up with dyslexia too, as a Aspie with ADHD, i know this as my doctor told me so, but kids/adults with Asperger's are likely to have ADHD/ADD, but sometimes your theory is true so it does depend on the person.

  3. No, I have Asperger's, but I don't have dyslexia. ou need to see my video about Asperger's: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rbgUjmeC-...

  4. It is possible, most of the people I have worked with that have aspergers don't.

  5. No, it's possible to have more then one diagnosis but it doesn't automatically that they all have dyslexia.

I have heard of cases of children with Autism & Down's Syndrom or Cerebral Palsy, Autism/Asperger's Syndrome with ADD or ADHD, or speech & language difficulties - actually thinking about it I've never across anyone with a diagnosis of Asperger's & dyslexia but doesn't mean that someone out there doesn't have it

  6. no--there is no correlation--but it does happen

  7. aspergers children can have more than one diagnosis but, not all of them do.  my younger brother has aspergers but, doesn't have dyslexia.
