“When I arrived in Marseille with a lot of hope, I was mentally fresh. But I had concerns about the physical impact during my first appearances. I had to do a lot of work to solve my back problem,” Diarra said while talking about his physical condition.
However, Diarra was thankful to Didier Deschamps and Laurent Blanc for their constant support throughout a testing time.
“The coach (Deschamps) always supported me, he told me to really take this problem by consideration. These are coaches who know football. They know that in a career, there are always ups and downs.”
Diarra said that tough times have always brought the best out of him and he is 100% sure of his ability to come out stronger than ever this year. Diarra has certainly shown flashes of brilliance in Marseille’s recent games.
