i was given these three diagrams of an alpha helix, RNA, and DNA

Questions:

1. which molecules are synthesized in the nucleus?

2. The monomers to build the alpha helix are?

3. The monomers to build RNA and DNA are?

4. Between these three molecules which way does information flow?

THANK-YOU!!!

  1. 1. Nucleus is the center core of cell and it have total DNA as chromatin. it replicates in nucleus and transcript to RNA. all the proteins produce in nucleus only but after that they come out of it.

    2. Monomers are the basic blocks of DNA structure. DNA design depends on monomers bonding. Myoglobin is the most interacting protein in Alpha helix of DNA.

    3. Monomers are called nucleotides. Each nucleotide is made up of a pentose sugar (deoxyribose in the case of DNA, ribose in the case of DNA), a phosphate group, and 1 of 4 nitrogenous bases.

    4. Genetic information flow is maintained by DNA with each generation. this DNA form by mRNA's and energy flow in the body is maintained by proteins and enzymes.

  2. 1.DNA,RNA

    2.Amino acids

3.Nucleic acids (both RNA and DNA) are polymers made up of monomers called mononucleotide units. The nucleotide units themselves are made up of smaller types of components. Each nucleotide contains a phosphate unit, a sugar unit, and a heterocyclic base unit.the suger will either be ribose in RNA or deoxyribose in DNA.

4.DNA is used as a template to synthesize RNA.and RNA is used to produce proteins.( alpha helix is a secondary structure of protein.)

  3. 1.DNA and RNA

    2. Amino acids

    3.Ribonucleotides and deoxyribonucleotides
