Alpine Breeze looking to steal the show in Edward Symmons Novices´ Chase
A total of 11 talented stallions have gathered together to spice up the competition in the Edward Symmons Novices´ Chase at Bangor-on-dee in England on Thursday, October 4, 2012. They will definitely make things interesting, as most of them are closely matched
and will give a tough time to each other.
Looking at the recent performances of all the participants, it seems that Alpine Breeze has got an advantage over her opponents. She has got a very good record and has been winning races with consistency. Due to this, she will be a force to reckon with in
the £3,054, which is scheduled to kick off at 14:50 GMT.
A few other runners have also been tipped to do well in the class-4 encounter, as they are in decent shape at the moment. One of them is Benheir, who is carrying the winning momentum right now. He has been performing really well since making his debut in
the sport, but will be under immense pressure today.
The six-year-old gelding has never raced in a chase event and it will be hard for him to get the attention of the punters. Despite that, his team will be hoping for a positive result, as he knows how to win races.
The Rebecca Curtis’ trained runner has appeared in four events this year and managed to win a couple of them. This shows that he is in good form right now and will make life difficult for his opponents. Furthermore, he will have an advantage of being partnered
by one of the best jockeys in the business, A. P. McCoy.
However, Alpine Breeze will be relaxed about the situation, as she knows what to do in order to win races at this level. She is a consistent performer and will definitely be fighting for a victory at the end of the day.
The Don Cantillon’s trainee has participated in a total of 13 races, winning six of them, which shows that her strike rate is quite good. In chase events, she has represented her team on three occasions and the results were tremendous. She managed to succeed
on a couple of times whereas secured the third spot once.
She has got a very good record under jockey, Peter Carberry, who will once again be accompanying her today.
