Alpine Type R amp?

Whats a good high quality amp to power two 12" Type Rs (1000 rms total, 500 rms each) at either 4 or 2 ohm?

I have two 10 inch Alpine Type R's (same wattage and everything) and I am running them off of the MRP-M850 and they beat really hard. The M850 puts out 500 watts @ 4 ohms and my subs are wired to 4 ohms. Its a really nice amp and it runs quite cool even in the heat of the day.

I would look at that amp or alpine has a fewer rated with a higher wattage if you want a little more power.

I'd look at the Kicker ZX series, probably the 750 (750 rms guaranteed).  Those amps only deliver at 2 ohms.
