Alpine deck grounding through the antenna?

I've got an Alpine iDA-X001 in a 94 Honda Civic and I noticed that when having the deck on an AM station (just static) on ACC, it sounds normal, but when I turn the key to ON, the sound increases to a screachy, humming noise. Upon inspection, I found out that even when disconnecting the ground wire, the unit stays grounded with the antenna... And of course with only one ground connection the noise stops.

Would this be an issue with the deck, or the car?

u have a bad grount going to yr deck find another source  to ground it to
