I am looking to get possibly 3 MRP-F550 alpine amps, and 20 alpine speakers 8 SPR-69C 6x9's, and maybe 12 SPR-17C 6 1/2's, and 4 tweeters.

use 1 amp for mids, and 1 amp for highs. And the third amp for the last four?...maybe 2 mids, and 2 highs on last amp.

and possibly 6 MRP-M1000 for 6 subs.

fi car audio brand, the SSD12 series?...

and a jvc head unit.

KW-XG700.

does all this sound good, and do you think can you hear me coming?...lol.

and what alternators will I need and batteries?...

All going of this is going in a 1971 cutlass supreme oldsmobile.

thanks.

  1. well you will definitely need a yellow top under the hood and  MAJOR alternator upgrade. people would definitely hear you, and you will need some more yellow top batteries for the power, you could use iraggi alternators.

and you don't HAVE to have capacitors for your system. its optional.

  2. if you dont have a rebuilt engine i would not get none of that because your audio system will be worth more then the car itself the car is over 30 years thats my opinion not trying to dis but i wouldnt rool like that you feel

  3. Okay well first let me say have fun wiring all of that...lol...and yes i'm quite sure that everyone will hear you coming (pictures of the install would be awesome after you get it all finished)

Yeah that sounds quite good, i'm fairly sure running your amps like would work. I think your going to need a minimum of 4 capacitors and your def going to need to upgrade your alternators.

Hope it all works out for you.

If you get some pictures send them to carcoolguy9@yahoo.com

I would love to see your system.
