Already O'd? Did I catch it?

Question

So I decided to use an OPK this month (we are in our 2nd month of TTC.) According to my calculations (OK the on line O predictors) I was supposed to O on the 13th. To get my POAS fix I tested on the 7th and got a fairly dark line. Not darker than the control line but it was there and dark. I tested again on the 9th and it was barely there and then again yesterday and there was no line. How long after ovulation does the LH surge drop? I know it is soon but with that test result would we have been too late? Is it possible we caught it in time? (All I am asking for is an opinion of the more experienced TTC'ers!) Hoping this is the month for us all! Baby dust!

You probably caught it.  Sometimes those tests are so darn touchy.  I know that if I don't test at least twice a day I miss my positive.  Baby Dust!!!!

Are you taking any meds like Clomid?

You ovulate 24 hours after the surge. The LH surge usually lasts 12 hours.
