today new neighbors are moving in an blaring their damned music all ******* ready yeah we get it you have a stereo. im so pissed today is their FIRST day here and most of the people who live in this complex are doctors and pay a lot of money to live here. I have the feeling these are stupid college students who want to play grown up if your going to party and act like a idiot live on campus!im pregnant and cant deal with it. I dont know I think I might wait it out and see if maybe they are just excited to move and will calm down or if they dont know the wallls are paper thin. how long do you think I should give them? like how many music is too loud incidents?

  1. They might just have the music up because they are moving in. I know when I moved I had my music up louder than normal so that I could hear it over the noise of unpacking. I would go over introduce yourself tell them that you understand they are excited to be moving into a new place, but could they please keep thier music a little lower. They may not even know that the walls are 'paper thin'.

If it continues or they are rude about your request go to the building manager, you probably have a noise ordinance. Good luck and keep your cool, if they are college kids show them how an adult reacts to this kind of situation.

  2. seeing as how you are pregnant you may just be upset and emotionall so just give them some time and if in a few days they are still acting childish i wuld contact the apt supervisor and have them address the issue if you do it yourself you may just make it worse

  3. Let them move in.  They may be playing it loud as they unpack.  However, you can talk to the landlord to find out more about the new neighbors.  Let the landlord know you have a concern.  You don't want to file a complaint yet, but your concern is there.

  4. awh well congrats on the babyy... and umm if they are playing it after 10 u can call it in, and id give them a week and if it gets bad then id talk to someone
