I went to Best Buy and one of the people there told me to get a 1000 watt mono rockwell amp.. This priced at $199 or something, but my range right now is about $140 ... I also need to be able to buy wiring with this money.. (Side question, what kind of wiring would I need to wire my subs from the back of a 2008 Honda Civic?? And do I need to buy anything else after that?? I read something about a capacitor and a dsitribution block...)

  2. go to crutchfield.com and see if they have anything in ur price range, they do sell refurbished products also which will be ok,you can go to your local walmart and buy a amp wiring kit it comes with all the wires and the fuse u will need,do not worry about a capacitor right now,the distribution block is actually a block with fuses in it to run more than 1 device off of it ,the fuse will b ok for now.

  3. well your going to need an amp wiring kit and those run anywhere from $30 to $100 my suggestion is to get on eBay and buy a wiring kit that will give you all the wiring you need for the amp then just stop in to radio shack and pick up a few feet of speaker wire to hook your subs to the amp. now for your amp situation i would say go to hifisoundconnection.com they have some good deals.  To power those subs your gonna need to spend about 150 alone to get a decent amp make sure to find rms ratings not peak when looking at the watts.  as for a capacitor anything above 500 rms is when your going to start to look at small capacitors again just get on ebay and find a cheap 1 farad capacitor but other then that i dont think you need anything else but realistically your not gonna get everything you need for $140
