The c**p is just the surface result that you see. The real underlying problem is ignorance - which is the primary cause of most human conflict. Racism will continue to be an issue as long as :

1. There are people ignorant enough to maintain racist opinions (this is a shrinking minority in the U.S., but it's not entirely gone, unfortunately).

2. There are people willing to act as victims, whether they actually are or not.

ADDED: Of course it's not racism. It's total ignorance of the term "black hole", combined with an eagerness on the part of two of the parties to turn that ignorance into victimization, even though they cannot even remotely be thought of as victims. This is the classic case of item 2 above. I mentioned item 1 because it still exists, although I see no sign of it in this particular instance.

First, you're just as bad as the people who object to "black hole", with your "extreme leftist" comment.

Second, you are right, it is a load of c**p.  Some people will find any excuse to be angry and to try to make themselves "holier-than-thou" by making a race issue out of something that has nothing to do with race simply because the word "black" is included.
