So there's this guy I met on the internet...

it's been almost a year and a half now since we've started talking. All of the other people that we're friends with on the 'net are all now like...connected, ya know?

But that guy...I fell for him, and he did too. In fact, he was the first one to admit it.

Problem, I'm fourteen and he's nineteen.

I've heard people tell me that I can't help who I fall for.

I've had others tell me it's wrong.

I need to know. The truth--IS it wrong? For me to like this guy, and for him to like me back?

(fyi; he's NOT a perv, you really should know. I mean, really.)

i guess you guys could be together...and it will be betteer when u guys are older. when ur 18 he will be 23... and those ages sound beter:] plus u will be legally aloud to do some things;]

    lol

    so yeah

    go for it!

    good luck

    hope i helpeeed

  2. Yes, it's wrong.

And IF you two 'connect' - your parents could put him in jail for a really really long time.

Do you like him enough to keep him out of jail?

    If yes, then stay away.

  3. At the least its illegal to actually do anything. Just endure it and wait until you are 18. Then you can get together legally. The age difference won't matter once you are an adult. But while you are a kid, its dangerous.

  4. As you should know that meeting someone over the internet can be really dangerous.

Just listening to the news you hear all the time about girls getting scammed by men, or the worst...girls meeting up with who they thought was amazing and never returning home.

So ask yourself, do you think he is legit? And remember you are 14...there are going to be other guys in your life. I know you probably hate that response (i do too and i am 18) but it is true.

Also ask...where does he live? And honestly, how honest do you think he has been with you?

Even if you still think you should see him...the age difference makes any kind of serious relationship illegal with him. So i would say as much as you like him, it just isn't going to work out. Sorry.
